I'm Maria Robinson the I put the 'SON' in 'PORTSON.' You can usually find me in the classroom teaching my incredible group of fifth graders in Butte, Montana. Even though I fill my time with teaching, coaching, walking Royse, and spending quality time with my family, I still felt that I had some creativity to spare - that’s where Portson Designs came to life. I pour my heart into each piece that I create. Anyone who knows me knows how much I value giving quality gifts to demonstrate my love, and that is what you will get with Portson - creative, authentic, quality based products. Hello! I'm Rachel Davenport, one of the creative hearts behind Portson Designs, in beautiful Butte, Montana. As a lifelong local with deep roots in our community, I'm thrilled to bring my passion for detailed craftsmanship to you through custom embroidery work and so much more. When I'm not stitching beautiful designs, you'll find me balancing life as a licensed clinical social worker specializing in children's trauma, adventuring outdoors with my husband and our three wonderful children, or enjoying a competitive game of volleyball. My approach to embroidery mirrors how I approach everything in life—with attention to detail, creative vision, and a commitment to excellence. Each piece I create represents a collaboration between us, transforming your ideas into beautifully crafted, wearable art. I believe the embroidery process should be as rewarding as the final product. From our first conversation to the moment you receive your finished piece, my goal is to ensure you feel valued, heard, and delighted with our creation.
